WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH
Meet Charlotte
Charlotte Kruse Dewaele is a jewelry and accessories designer based in Los Angeles, California, where her work lives at the intersection of sparkle and smart design. She studied Medical Illustration at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where she sharpened her eye for detail and her began to experiment with her hands-on skills in jewelry bench work and fabric manipulation. A move to Los Angeles led her to the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, where she added fashion design and a bit of West Coast ease to her toolkit.
Once in California, she discovered the jewelry industry and never looked back. Over the past 20 years, she has designed, developed, and produced jewelry in-house for brands such as AREYOUAMI, Ariel Gordon Jewelry, VRAI, Diamond Foundry, and MICHAEL M., as well as owned and operated her own costume jewelry brand, Sweet Evie. Today, she runs CKD Design Studio, a creative partner for brands looking to expand their collections, test new categories, and turn bright ideas into beautiful, market-ready product; always with a sense of curiosity, collaboration, and joy in the process.
